Two school projects are finished. KyKy finished her history fair project on Vincent Van Gogh at 1 this morning. It's super-keen looking. The fold out poster board background was painted like an impressionist painting. Tonight 'Nika finished her project on Ella Fitzgerald for Black History Month. Yeah we all know it was last month, don't ask me why it's due tomorrow. She originally was going to do it on Eddie Murphy. Meh. I like Ella much better, and Billie Holiday better than Ella. Billie's life would be a bit too depressing for a 4th grader I think.
That leaves The Other (Younger) Half's project. The big push this term is community nursing. I'm not even sure what she is doing for her project, although I've heard her mumbling something about fixing this avian flu thing once and for all. Never one to think small.

I fixed the Avian flu LAST week. I'm moving on to bigger things for the rest of the term. Sheesh! try to keep up, will you?
As for Ani's project...this is why I gently encouraged Ella over Billie. I thought that delving too heavily into drugs and sexual conquest for a a 4th grade poster board would be a bit much. Plus, Googling for 'images' along those lines may have produced some unfavorable results.
