Bring It On
Just got back from the grocery store. It was cloudy when we went in, and it was snowing when we got out. The weather dopes are now saying we may get up to a foot of snow. But the larder is full, there is fresh gas for the snowblower and after my bike ride I can sit in my chair and watch the snow fall while I drink coffee. So come on Mother Nature, do you worst. Well except for an ice storm. That can stay in Iowa.

I mean, how was the ride?
Bad. Very slippery on a mtn bike with studded knobby tires. The nerds gave up after about 3/4 of a mile. Riding on the street was hazardous. You can't ride in a straight line when correcting for slippage. I was too tired when I got back to flip the fixed gear to singlespeed to try skinny tires on the snow. Definitely not a fat tire kind of snow, unless of course I get a Pugsley with 4 inch tires. I'm going over to Lunatic right now to check it out. Congrats, you're famous now.
